A year ago this week, I had the amazing experience of going to London with my family. My sister, Christian, who is known as the “world traveler” of our clan, was studying abroad in the beautiful city and of course we just had to pay her a visit- (bless our hearts, am I right?) It was my first time in Europe, and such an experience. At the time, I was going through a really dark period of depression and I completely felt it lift for the time- probably the combination of culture, good food, shopping, and (of course) being with my family!
Highlights included:
- The Book Of Mormon (hilarious)
- FOOD
- High tea
- Westminister Abbey (listening to Elton John’s “Goodbye England’s Rose” on Youtube the entire time in honor of Princess D., obviously)
- Shakespeare’s Globe (Shakespearaholic over here)
- The London Eye
- Buckingham Palace
- Sooooo much more!!
